This primary bathroom remodel transforms a long, linear footprint into a highly functional and visually balanced retreat. The design embraces the room’s “shotgun” layout, using thoughtful planning and carefully aligned sightlines to enhance the sense of openness while maximizing every square foot.
Storage was a driving force behind the design. Custom walnut cabinetry incorporates specialized pull-outs for hair styling tools, concealed laundry storage, and abundant organization, allowing daily routines to remain effortless while maintaining a clean, uncluttered aesthetic. Every cabinet was intentionally designed to improve functionality without compromising the overall composition.
The material palette balances timeless elegance with everyday durability. Soft beige porcelain tile provides a resilient foundation, while natural stone mosaics introduce texture, movement, and visual interest. Rich walnut cabinetry creates warmth and serves as a striking contrast against the light stone finishes. Slim shaker door profiles were elevated with custom brass hardware and decorative backplates, adding depth, scale, and a tailored level of craftsmanship. Coordinating brass mirrors and lighting complete the composition, reinforcing the warmth of the material palette while creating a cohesive, sophisticated environment.
The result is a primary bathroom that seamlessly blends thoughtful space planning, custom storage solutions, and timeless material selections—delivering a luxurious retreat designed to support the client’s daily lifestyle while maintaining enduring beauty.
